Start reaching out to seamstresses
Bridal gown alterations can take up to 4 months, and alterations for moms and bridesmaids can take about 2 months. So, depending on your wedding date, you will want to get on a seamstress’ calendar as soon as you can. At TTK, we don’t have any in-house seamstresses because we don’t feel it’s right to limit our customers to one option. We have brides, moms, and bridesmaids coming from all across the state and want you to feel comfortable choosing whoever you would like to work on your dress! With that said, if you need help finding a seamstress, please let us know! We know three women owned businesses in Green Bay that we trust and always recommend.

Choose your color palette
Earthy tones, pastel colors, light-and-airy, dark-and-moody, and nude color palettes are just a few of the many combinations our TTK brides have chosen for their weddings. We often find that it helps to have a few complimentary colors in mind to use sporadically to bring your whole vision to life. This can also help you determine which colors you would like your bridesmaids, moms, and groomsmen to be in!

Gather your VIPs!
After you have your wedding colors picked out, it’s time to start looking at bridesmaids and mothers dresses! Our designers take anywhere between 4-6 months for standard shipping. Whether you want every bridesmaid in the same dress or a mix of different styles and fabrics, we have tons to choose from! We have a curated selection from both Sorella Vita and Jasmine for our bridesmaids, as well as MGNY by Mori Lee and Jade Couture for moms. At our Military Road location, we share the building with DuBois formalwear. The timeline for ordering suits/tuxes is different, so that is typically the last color you need to pick out for the rest of your VIPs! (Psst — DuBois offer deals on suits and tuxes for brides that got their dresses at TTK!)
