There’s something magical about Door County; its charming waterfront towns, rolling countryside, and laid-back yet elevated vibe make it the perfect backdrop for weddings and styled shoots alike. We had the joy of collaborating with an incredible team of creatives for a breathtaking styled shoot at Northern Haus, one of Door County’s most sought-after wedding venues.
Nestled among towering trees and lush fields, Norther Haus offers a clean, airy, and modern aesthetic that blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural beauty. Its spacious, open interiors provide a blank canvas for any wedding vision, while the outdoor ceremony space, framed by fresh greenery and open skies, feels like something straight out of a romance novel.
We didn’t stop there, though. After capturing the magic at Northern Haus, we took the adventure waterside, soaking in the serene beauty of the bay. We also visited The Dorr Hotel, a stunning boutique stay in Sister Bay that pairs contemporary style with that unmistakeable Door County Charm. Just steps from the water, The Dorr Hotel was the perfect spot to add another layer of elegance to our shoot.
For this styled shoot, we showcased two unforgettable Ines Di Santo gowns. The first, a dreamy tulle fit-and-flare, featured delicate ruching throughout, romantic off-the-shoulder straps, and a silhouette that was pure sophistication. The second gown brought the fun; a short, flirty lace and floral design that radiated playful charm and movement.
The florals were nothing short of breathtaking, with crisp white blooms accented by fresh pops of green, creating a timeless and organic feel. To sweeten the scene, our custom cake mirrored the floral theme and incorporated stunning architectural details that felt as much like art as dessert. And, of course, no bridal look is complete without the perfect ring. The pear-cut beauty featured in this shoot caught not only our eye, but also the light in the most romantic way, adding the perfect finishing touch to our bride’s look.
